MinYoung Lee

A clarinet-based artist and producer whose practice is grounded in classical and contemporary music.

Lee explores the sonic possibilities of the clarinet and has recently expanded this practice by bringing effects pedals and electronic equipment into sound design.

With a particular interest in interactive art and interdisciplinary practice, Lee has collaborated with marbling artists, movement artists and visual artists. A recent project explored memory by combining live clarinet and electronic sound with a virtual environment in which a village was rebuilt as a game-like map.
